What exactly is a credit?
A credit is platform money. 1 credit = ₹1 of value, but only inside CBC. You spend credits on premium ad placements (Spotlight, Category Pin, Profile Boost) and on yearly membership renewals.
Can I get cash instead of credits?
No. Credits are not cash, not transferable, and not refundable. We're purposely a closed circle — credits keep value inside the network and let us reward good referrers without payment-aggregator licences.
When exactly do I get the credits?
When the vendor you referred completes signup and their KYC is verified. The +50 credits hit your wallet automatically. Sign-up is free during the beta.
What if my friend forgets to use my link?
Your link sets a cookie in their browser for 30 days. As long as they sign up from the same browser within a month of clicking, the credit is yours — even if they typed the URL fresh next time.
What if they sign up but don't pay?
No fee paid → no credit earned. The attribution is recorded so you'd benefit if they ever come back and pay. But the credit itself only happens at payment.
How do I know someone clicked my link?
Your dashboard tracks clicks for the last 7 days plus all-time. You also get an in-app notification (and email, when we wire it) the moment someone signs up via your link.
Is there any limit?
No upper limit on how many vendors you can refer. We do flag suspicious patterns (e.g. 10 signups from the same browser fingerprint in a day) for manual review — that's what protects the network's quality.
Do you reward referrals beyond level 1?
No. We pay only the direct referrer (level 1). It keeps incentives clean — you bring someone in, you get the credit. No pyramid mechanics.
